Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Men and women \= 70 years of age with serum sodium of 130 mmol/l or below at time of admission to hospital.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Absent informed consent
  • •2\. Treatment in intensive care unit.
  • •Specific handicaps that might limit a patient’s capability to perform one or more single tests (e.g. amputation in physical testing) do not lead to general exclusion.
