Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •cochlea implant, one or both sides
- •\- Age 18 \-85 years
- •\- Good German language skills according to the therapist's assessment
- •\- written consent
- •\- Patient owned, Internet\-enabled smartphone with iOS or Android, with the corresponding current operating system
Exclusion Criteria
- •missing informed consent,
- •Sign language as mother tongue,
- •Insufficient knowledge of German according to the therapist's assessment,
- •Non\-correctable visual disturbance / blindness according to own statements,
- •illiterate, by their own admission,
- •Known mental illnesses such as severe depression or dementia
