Inclusion Criteria
Patients undergoing cardiac surgeries with midline sternotomy
Exclusion Criteria
1. Patient refusal.
2. Allergy to local anesthetics.
3. Localized infection.
4. Coagulopathy / Bleeding diathesis
5. Pre-existing neurological deficit
6. LV EF less than 30%
7. Cognitive impairment or an active psychiatric condition.
8. Inability to understand pain scoring.
9. Emergency surgery
