Patients:
(1) Sufficient knowledge of the German language
(2) Written informed consent
(3) ADHD diagnosis according to ICD-10
(4) Clinically prescribed treatment with methylphenidate for at least 6 months
(5) Stable psychotropic medication (apart from ADHD medication) for at least 4 weeks
control group:
(1) Sufficient knowledge of the German language
(2) Written informed consent
Patients:
(1) Known neurological disorders affecting the brain, including condition after craniocerebral trauma with unconsciousness lasting for more than 5 minutes
(2) Any diagnosis including Autism, Morbus Parkinson, Schizophrenia or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
(3) Harmful substance abuse according to ICD-10
(4) Motor hyperactivity at the time of EEG measurement
(5) Known IQ < 70
(6) premature birth < 32 wks
(7) use of antidepressants (except for SSRI)
Control group:
(1) Known neurological disorders affecting the brain, including condition after craniocerebral trauma with unconsciousness lasting for more than 5 minutes
(2) Any diagnosis including ADHD, Autism, Depression, Morbus Parkinson, Schizophrenia or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
(3) Harmful substance abuse according to ICD-10

Name Time Method Evidence for specific changes in neuronal activity measured by means of EEG, in relation to drug-related effects over the course of the day.

Name Time Method Relationship between EEG parameters, drug-related effects over course of time, neuropsychological testing, level of cognitive performance, results of kidney and liver blood parameters, and interviews regarding the patients' current condition (ADHS-E, Wender Utah Rating Scale short form (WURS-K), Wender-Reimherr-Interview (WRI-V)).
