Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Adult patients who are older than or equal to 18 years
- •2\. Patients who have been diagnosed as hypertension and are currently under treatment and also have controlled blood pressure based on office measurement
- •3\. Patients who are scheduled and undergo for elective non\-cardiac surgery, including intraabdominal and intrapelvic surgery under general anesthesia
- •4\. Patient's data will be collected from only the first occasion of undergoing general anesthesia after enrollment
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Patients who are scheduled for elective cardiac surgery under general anesthesia.
- •2\.Patients who are scheduled for emergency non\-cardiac surgery under general anesthesia.
- •3\.Patients who have underlying diseases or history of severe cardiac problems e.g. severe valvular heart disease, heart failure, myocardial infarction with poor cardiac output, LVEF less than 35 percentage or functional class III\-IV by New York Heart Association.
- •4\.Patients who have underlying diseases or history of pheochromocytoma or mass at adrenal grand.
- •5\.Patients who have underlying diseases or history of increased intracranial pressure.
- •6\.Patients who have underlying diseases or history of end stage renal failure, hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis therapy.
- •7\.Patients who have underlying diseases or history of vascular diseases e.g. aortic aneurysm, arterial occlusion.
- •8\.Patients with pregnancy.
- •9\.Patients who decline to provide informed consent.
