  • Patient undergoing elective major visceral surgery
  • Hospitalization the day before surgery
  • Sufficient command of French language
Exclusion Criteria
  • emergency procedures (after unplanned admission)
  • inability to obtain informed consent or refusal
  • inability to follow intervention
