入选标准

  • Patients belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status grade I or II of either sex aged between 25 to 80 yrs, scheduled for total knee replacement surgery.

排除标准

  • Patient refusal
  • Preexisting infection at block site
  • Coagulation disorder
  • History of psychiatric illness and preexisting neurological deficits
  • Patient with morbid obesity BMI >40 kg/ m2
  • Decreased pulmonary reserve, cardiac disorders and renal dysfunctions
  • Known allergy to study drugs
