? at least 20 years old
? patient who understand the aim of this trial and take a signature on the informed consent form
? pathologically confirmed as colorectal or gastirc cancers
? pathological type as adenocarcinoma, mucinous carcinoma, signet ring cell carcinoma
?open surgery
?midline incision length shorter than 1 cm
?midline incision length longer than 10 cm
?previous operation history and presence of scar
?other site incision rather than midline incision
?emergency surgery, for example patients with obstruction or perforation
? palliative surgery
?patients who need stoma
?Bypass surgery
?patients who have peritoneal seedings
?patients who have intractable wound, fracture, peptic ulcer, intraperitoneal abscess
?patients who have incisional hernia caused by previous surgery or who have received incisional herniorraphy with mesh
?patients who enrolled other clinical trial within 6months, or patients who have received medicines for any clinical trial
?patients who do not want to be enrolled in this trial
?if investigators make a decision that patients are unacceptable or impossible to participate this trial
