- •(1\) Patients with chronic lateral instability of the ankle joint diagnosed with subjective symptoms and objective diagnosis (more than 5 mm displacement on anterior draw test and more than 10 degrees of talus tilt angle)
- •(2\) patients who require surgery due to lateral instability of the ankle joint ((i) patients who do not improve conservative treatment of 3 months of medication and rehabilitation, (ii) patients with givingway and persistent pain, (iii) Patients who cannot maintain their ankle activity at the previous level for more than 6 months)
- •(3\) Patients who are expected to be followed up for 2 years after surgery
- •(4\) Patients who can have MRI before surgery and 1 year after surgery
- •(7\) Patients who agreed to the agreement
Exclusion Criteria
- •(1\) Fracture history on affected ankle joint
- •(2\) Past surgical history of affected ankle
