Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •(1\) Patients diagnosed with chronic lateral instability of the ankle joint through subjective symptoms and objective diagnostic methods compared to the unaffected side
- •(2\) Patients requiring surgery due to lateral ankle joint instability
- •(3\) Patients judged to be able to follow\-up for 5 years after surgery
- •(4\) Patients who agreed to the treatment method and postoperative examination (MR at 6 months, ultrasound every year).
Exclusion Criteria
- •(1\) Past surgical history of the affected ankle
- •(2\) Deformation of ankle alignment due to arthritis, congenital disease, etc.
- •(3\) History of other musculoskeletal and nervous system diseases
