(1) Patients diagnosed with chronic lateral instability of the ankle joint through subjective symptoms and objective diagnostic methods compared to the unaffected side
(2) Patients requiring surgery due to lateral ankle joint instability
(3) Patients judged to be able to follow-up for 5 years after surgery
(4) Patients who agreed to the treatment method and postoperative examination (MR at 6 months, ultrasound every year).
(1) Past surgical history of the affected ankle
(2) Deformation of ankle alignment due to arthritis, congenital disease, etc.
(3) History of other musculoskeletal and nervous system diseases
