A prospective comparative study to evaluate the effectiveness of plate suitable for Korean in medial open high tibial osteotomy
- Conditions
- Diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue
- Registration Number
- KCT0005518
- Lead Sponsor
- Seoul National University Hospital
- Brief Summary
individualized plates provide better tibial ?tting compared to conventional anatomic plates (statistically significant), and lesser D-hole violation, although statistically not significant

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method incidence of violation of D-hole screw to osteotomy plane; The ratio of falling by more than 3mm by checking the fitting of the bone fragment (distance between the bone fragment and the metal plate) during surgery
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method (WOMAC) score;Posterior slope of the proximal tibia through radiological evaluation; The height of the patella;Lateral tibia hinge fracture;nonunion;Loss of correction angle (reduction of mechanical axis to varus)
