Inclusion Criteria

Men or women; over 18 years of age with prodrome of flu-like syndrome and respiratory sign or symptom; ICU admission; need for oxygen support in a nasal catheter for up to 6 l min;
test for SARS Cov 2 virus infection after symptom onset; using a molecular diagnostic assay based on the polymerase chain reaction.

Exclusion Criteria

Suspected infection suggestive of fungal or bacterial etiology.
