1.Age 18 to 60years
2.ICU patients suspected to be having sepsis as per sepsis-3 definition.7
(Increase in SOFA Score by 2 from SOFA score at admission to ICU)
1.Patients having ESRD/CKD. ( From Radiological evidence, USG KUB done as per routine ICU protocol in all suspected septic patients in ICU)
2.Patients who are on propofol infusion ( >4mg/kg/hr for > 48hrs) and Metformin ( >3gm per day for at least 6 months)
3.Acute coronary syndrome
4.A known case of Chronic liver disease
5.Patients previously admitted in other ICUs and wards
6.RRT performed for Non renal causes
