•1.systemically healthy participants above the age of 18 years rendering informed consent to participate in the study.
•2. Periodontally involved single rooted teeth anterior to the premolars with attachment loss of greater than 5mm indicated for extraction.

•1.Teeth with developmental anomalies.
•2. teeth with internal and external resorption
•3.Teeth with non carious cervical lesions such as abfraction, erosion and abrasion.
•4.Teeth with endodontic treatment.
•5.Teeth with root restorations.
•6.Teeth that are acid etched or having bonded restorations.
•7. Teeth having been subjected to vital/nonvital bleaching.
•8.participants having undergone nonsurgical/surgical periodontal therapy.
•9. Participants having fixed orthodontic appliances and splints.
