This study is a prospective, consecutive, non- randomised, non blinded, observational study that will be organised and carried out in the Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mohali, Punjab with due authorisation from the Institutional Ethics Committee and Review Board and in compliance to informed, written consents taken from patients. This study is to evaluate and compare peri-operative complications and outcomes between general and regional anaesthesia in elderly patients undergoing hip arthroplasty.

入选标准
- •American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) I-III of either sex.
- •Patients aged more than or equal to 65 years.
排除标准
- •Patient’s refusal to be included in the study
- •Patients undergoing revision hip arthroplasty.
- •Patients with active covid infection.
- •Patients with active respiratory or urinary tract infection.
