简要总结
The Butterfly Agility Test (BAT) is a dynamic assessment tool designed to evaluate essential athletic components such as speed, agility, and lower limb power through a double leg board jump. This test plays a crucial role in assessing explosive strength and coordination, which are vital for optimal sports performance. It also helps identify potential areas of weakness that may lead to injury, enabling coaches to create targeted training programs aimed at performance enhancement and injury prevention. The present study aims to establish reference values for the BAT among recreational basketball players. A cross-sectional study will be conducted at the Sports Complex of Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana-Ambala, Haryana, India. Healthy recreational basketball players aged 16 to 30 years will be recruited and tested using a standardized BAT protocol, with the completion time recorded in seconds. Data will be analyzed using SPSS software version 24. The findings will provide normative data for the BAT, contributing to its effectiveness as a performance evaluation tool and supporting further investigation into the relationship between agility and basketball-specific skills.
