Newly diagnosed nephrotic syndrome
-Remission within 28 days with glucocorticoid
-Exceeding 1 year old and under 16 years old
-Patients who agreed to the study
- Secondary nephrotic syndrome
- Decreased complement (C3 < 60 mg/dL)
- Present extrarenal symptoms (neurologic, GI, cardiac, hematologic, lung, musculoskeletal, rheumatologic, endocrinologic, eye, ear disorder)
- History of kidney transplantation
- Present gross hematuria
- Increased serum creatinine (or decreased glomerular filtration rate)
- Present hypertension
