- •Patients scheduled for elective PCNL/URSL surgery

- •Allergy to lidocaine.
- •Known case of arrhythmias, heart block, atrial fibrillation.
- •Case of liver cirrhosis.
- •Severe heart disease, respiratory disease.
- •Patient previously on catheter, stent , previous urethral instrumentation.
