Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Inclusion criterion for the first substudy
- •\- Adult members of the diabetes team (\= 18 years of age) who are involved in the development and/or delivery of diabetes training for type 1 diabetes at Herdecke Community Hospital.
- •\- A prerequisite for participation in the study is a written declaration of consent.
- •Inclusion criteria for the second sub\-study
- •\- Children/adolescents with diabetes mellitus type 1 ( \= 12 years of age and \= 17 years of age)
- •\- A prerequisite for participation in the study is a written declaration of consent from the study participants as well as a written declaration of consent from the guardians.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Exclusion criterion for the first substudy
- •\- Insufficient physical, cognitive and emotional skills to handle the tests.
- •Exclusion criteria for the second substudy
- •\- Insufficient German language skills to understand the test/the declaration of consent.
- •\- Insufficient physical, cognitive and emotional abilities of the children to handle the tests.
- •\- Particularly onerous extraordinary events that are contradictory to participation in the study.
- •\- The following, in particular, are considered exclusion criteria for the children: a known, abnormal haemoglobin level, an abnormal creatinine level, alcoholism or long\-term aspirin therapy.
