Inclusion Criteria
Occupation at commencement of counselling
- Psychological distress and workplace issues
Exclusion Criteria
- Application for a disability pension or exclusive focus on disability pension
- No positive prognosis for return to work/ stay at work within 12 months (timeframe of counselling)
- Inability to engage in counseling (e.g. due to untreated severe mental illness such as an acute schizophrenic episode, severe addiction disorder etc.)
- Participation in a retraining program that exceeds the project's designated 12-month timeframe of counselling
- Individuals with exclusively somatic illnesses
