During the COVID-19 outbreak, negative pressure rooms are being considered as a potential solution to isolate high-risk COVID-19 patients. To evaluate the effectiveness of this approach, this study aimed to compare mortality rates of pneumonia patients before and during the use of negative pressure rooms.

Inclusion Criteria

Patients ages 18 years old and older with initial pneumonia diagnosis (ICD-10 code: J12-J18) and subsequent hospital admission

Exclusion Criteria

traumatic-related illness experienced out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) or in-hospital cardiac arrest (IHCA), incomplete of their data on the potential confounding factors, primary and secondary outcomes
