Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patients aged between 18 and 60 years, of either gender, belonging to ASA physical status I–II undergoing elective neurosurgery in supine position requiring general anaesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patients with previous history of stroke and/or myocardial infarction
  • •Patients in whom subclavian vein could not be visualised
  • •Patients on mechanical ventilation
  • •Patients not having regular spontaneous breathing
  • •Patients for emergency neurosurgical procedures
  • •Patient refusal
  • •Patients with peripheral vascular disorders
  • •Patients with Autonomic nervous system disorders
