Males and females age range with above 60 years
Sarcopenic population
For muscle strength assessment, Hand grip strength (Low grip GS: <20 kg (WOMEN), <30kg (MEN)
not obese ( <30 kg/m2) (according to WHO)
Participants excluded will be:
History of 6 months lower limb surgeries and fractures
Hip or knee replacement
Impaired mobility (unable to walk without an aid including wheelchair)
Chronic obstructive lung disease,
Congestive cardiac failure,
Chronic liver disease,
Chronic kidney disease,
Moderate to severe osteoarthritis,
Symptomatic peripheral neuropathy,
Neurodegenerative disorders (including cognitive impairment),
Underlying malignancies,
Ongoing untreated or uncontrolled medical conditions,
Recurrent falls
Participants hospitalized in the last 10 weeks or those admitted for more than 7 days during the previous 6 months[12]
