Inclusion Criteria

The medical charts and surgical records of patients with complicated RRD who underwent PPV with first SO tamponade at Srinagarind Hospital of Khon Kaen University between January 2013 and December 2017 were reviewed.

Exclusion Criteria

(1) complications of proliferative diabetic retinopathy
(2) uveitis-related retinal detachment
(3) RD under silicone oil before SOR
(4) follow up <3 months after SOR.
