- •\-Histologically or cytologically proven irresectable stage IIIc or IV melanoma
- •\-Age above 18 years
- •\-WHO performance score 0, 1 or 2 at the time of study entry

- •\-Severe anemia (Hb \< 6\.0 mmol/L)
