phototypes between I and III according to Fitzpatrick's; photoaging according to Global Photoaging Score Types III and IV; non smoking
Recent history of skin lesions or surgeries in the past three months; Medical history of heart disease and/or arrhythmias of any nature, kidney failure or hepatic disease; Medical history of Asthma or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD); Medical history of Iron Overload (Hemochromatosis); Use of oral Isotretinoin (13-cis-retinoic acid) in the past six months; Patients with immunosuppressive Conditions, Decompensated Diabetes or Systemic Conditions which interfere on the healing/scaring process such as Malnutrition and Neoplasms; Personal history of keloid.
