Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Primary outcome

To assess association between serum ferritin levels in tropical fever patients measured within 72 hrs of ICU admission to ICU mortality & ICU length of stay .

Timepoint: Until icu stay or death

Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Secondary outcomes

1.To assess the incidence of secondary HLH in tropical infections admitted to ICU .

2.To assess the association between secondary HLH & ICU mortality & ICU length of stay.

3.To assess the mortality difference among patients treated with & without steroids based on serum ferritin levels alone.

Timepoint: until icu stay
