Inclusion Criteria
cases : 1) Pregnant patients in third trimester with excellent dates as corroborated by
a) Clinical information of known last menstrual period with 28 to 30 days cycle.
OR
b) Availability of first-trimester ultrasound.
2) Estimated fetal weight calculated by ultrasound <10th percentile according to the
Intergrowth 21 Standards.
Controls-
Estimated fetal weight calculated by ultrasound between 10th and 90th percentile according to
the Intergrowth 21 Standards.
Exclusion Criteria
Pregnant women attending ANC OPD in third trimester
a) Iron deficiency anemia
b) Presence of infection
c) Congenital malformation in fetus
d) Multiple pregnancies
