简要总结
This comparative cross-sectional study assesses biological age differences using phenotypic age biomarkers (9 blood markers: albumin, creatinine, glucose, CRP, etc.) between 54 regular yoga practitioners (more than or equal to 1 year, 3 sessions per week) and 54 non-practitioners, aged 30-50, in Nagpur. Healthy participants, matched by age/gender, undergo lab tests and IPAQ-SF questionnaires . Statistical analysis (t-tests) will evaluate yoga’s impact on aging, hypothesizing lower biological age in practitioners amid rising lifestyle diseases.

- •Willing to provide written informed consent and comply with all study procedures, including interviews , sampling for phenotypic age biomarkers and questionnaires.
- •Low to moderate IPAQ Score (i.e., less than 3000 MET-minutes per week ) for non yoga practitioners.
排除标准
- •Individuals younger than 30 years or older than 50 years at the time of recruitment 2) Diagnosis of any chronic medical condition , including diabetes mellitus , hypertension , cardiovascular diseases, chronic respiratory conditions ( e.g.,asthma , COPD ), autoimmune disorders, thyroid dysfunction , cancer 3) Recent major surgery or hospitalisation within the last 6 months.
