Inclusion Criteria

1. Patient with De Quervain tenosynovitis.
2. Age > 18 years.
3. Failed nonoperative treatment after 2-3 times of local injection.

Exclusion Criteria

1. Previous affected extremity injury
2. infection
3. allergy to lidocaine
4. Underlying rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis of the 1st carpometacarpal joint, and median carpal tunnel syndrome
