简要总结
This study aims to evaluate the effects of a 10-week Zumba-based exercise program performed three times per week on blood pressure in adults with hypertension. In addition to the primary outcome of blood pressure, secondary outcomes including medication control, body composition (body weight, body fat percentage, and muscle mass), and psychological outcomes (anxiety, depression, quality of life, emotional well-being, and sleep quality) will be assessed.
Participants will be assigned to either an intervention group, performing the Zumba program, or a control group maintaining their usual lifestyle. Measurements will be conducted at baseline and after the intervention period to determine the effectiveness of the program.
详细描述
Hypertension is a major public health concern associated with increased cardiovascular risk. Regular physical activity has been shown to improve blood pressure control and overall health outcomes. Zumba, as a form of aerobic exercise combining dance and music, may represent an engaging and effective intervention to improve adherence to physical activity programs.
The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of a 10-week Zumba-based exercise intervention, performed three times per week, on blood pressure in adults with hypertension. Secondary objectives include the assessment of changes in medication use, body composition (body weight, body fat percentage, and muscle mass), and psychological outcomes, including anxiety and depression symptoms, quality of life, emotional well-being, and sleep quality.
Participants will be allocated to either an intervention group or a control group. The intervention group will participate in supervised Zumba sessions, while the control group will maintain their usual daily activities. All participants will undergo assessments at baseline and after the 10-week intervention period.
