入排标准
入选标准
- •1.Patients of 18-60 years, both sexes.
- •2.Patients willing to give informed consent.
- •3.Ankle fracture treated surgically with an implant.
排除标准
- •1.patient with Pilon fractures including articular impaction requiring elevation of fragments were excluded.
- •2.If the patients are treated differently after the initial study phase.
- •3.Not willing to participate in the study.
- •4.Bilateral ankle fractures or other major injuries that would affect recovery time
- •5.Inability to co-operate with post-op protocol (advanced dementia, polytrauma patients).
- •6.Non-ambulatory preinjury.
- •7.Neuropathic joint: diabetic neuropathy, alcoholic neuropathy, syphilis, leprosy, spinal cord injury.
- •8.If operating surgeon feels the fixation is not stable.
