Inclusion Criteria

Being with BMI between 30 and 39.9kg / m²; female; age between 20 and 59 years; patients in the first consultation in the outpatient clinic.

Exclusion Criteria

People with diabetes mellitus; heart disease; renal disease; hypothyroidism; hyperthyroidism; cancer; psychotic disorders;
binge eating; Being on medications that interfere with weight and / or appetite, such as appetite suppressants and thyroid hormones;
Be pregnant, breastfeeding or in a period of up to six months postpartum; Chronic alcoholic; People practicing supervised regular physical activity at the time of
screening; People performing nutritional follow-up at another health unit during the study period. Termination criteria: Participants who by their own choice attend less than fifty percent of the outpatient appointments scheduled; Participants who decide to withdraw their free consent.

Efficacy of the Intuitive Eating Program to reduce body mass index, verified according to cutoff points recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO, 1998), based on the finding of a variation of at least 5% in pre- and post-intervention measurements.;Efficacy of the Intuitive Eating Program for at least 5% reduction in pre- and post-intervention measurements of waist circumference measured by waist circumference in centimeters, according to waist circumference cutoff points by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF, 2006) ;Efficacy of the Intuitive Eating Program for 5% improvement in diet quality in pre- and post-intervention assessments measured using the Revised Diet Quality Index (IQD-R).
