Inclusion Criteria

- minimal age of 20 years
- mild (IQ = 50-69) to moderate (IQ = 35-49) intellectual disability
- able to have a conversation and understand instructions
- able to walk at least 40 meters independently
- informed consent

Exclusion Criteria

- Diagnosis of Down syndrome, Parkinson's disease, cerebrovascular accident, dementia, or cerebral palsy
- severe visual impairment (<0.3)

Primary Outcome Measures

<p>The primary study parameters are the spatial (distance-related) and temporal<br /><br>(time-related) gait parameters, measured with the GAITRite during walking at<br /><br>comfortable speed with and without a dual task, and at maximal speed. </p><br>
