Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\)Systemically healthy patients in the age range of 30\-55 years.
  • •2\) Patients reporting with periodontitis having \< 5mm probing pocket depth indicated for scaling and root planing and which do not need any resective and regenerative surgical procedure.
  • •3\)There should be atleast 20 remaining teeth in the whole mouth except third molars.
  • •4\)Informed consent for treatment to be given.
  • •5\)Patients without any systemic conditions and willingness to participate and to follow up until the end of the study.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\)Acute infection
  • •2\)Medically compromised patients
  • •3\)Uncooperative patients
  • •5\)Pregnant and lactating females
  • •6\)Non\-compliant patients for oral hygiene maintenance
