Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Only premolar extraction
  • •2\.No missing maxillary incisors, and molars
  • •3\.Fixed appliance treatment involving both arches; preadjusted edgewise appliances
  • •4\.Pretreatment records, study models available

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Non extraction cases
  • •2\.Patients having craniofacial or dentofacial syndromes
  • •3\.Single\-arch or sectional fixed appliance treatment
  • •4\.Cases requiring bonded retainers
  • •5\.Patients having poor periodontal status
  • •6\.Cases that have to be debonded prior to finishing and detailing stage of treatment
