1. Normal sleep group inclusion criteria
1) Individuals who have subjectively experienced insomnia symptoms less than three times per month over the past three months. (Insomnia symptoms include difficulty initiating sleep, difficulty maintaining sleep, and early morning awakening with difficulty returning to sleep.)
(2) Individuals with an Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) score of less than 8.
(3) Individuals who have had an average sleep duration of at least 6 hours over the past three months.
(4) Adults aged 19 to 70.
(5) Individuals who have understood and agreed to participate in this study.
2. Insomnia group inclusion criteria
(1) Individuals who have subjectively experienced insomnia symptoms at least three times per week over the past three months. (Insomnia symptoms include difficulty initiating sleep, difficulty maintaining sleep, and early morning awakening with difficulty returning to sleep, leading to a state where sleep, even when obtained, does not result in recovery.) (The use of sleeping pills or sleep-related health-functional foods is not relevant.)
(2) Individuals with an Insomnia Severity Index (ISI) score of 15 or higher.
(3) Adults aged 19 to 70.
(4) Individuals who have understood and agreed to participate in this study.
1. Normal sleep group exclusion criteria
(1) Individuals with evidence of intellectual disability or organic brain damage.
(2) Individuals diagnosed with major mood disorders, anxiety disorders, or schizophrenia spectrum disorders.
(3) Individuals with sleep disorders such as hypersomnia, respiratory-related sleep disorders, or parasomnias.
(4) Individuals engaged in shift work.
(5) Individuals currently taking sleep-inducing medication or health functional foods related to sleep.
(6) Individuals without a smartphone.
2. Insomnia group exclusion criteria
(1) Individuals with evidence of intellectual disability or organic brain damage.
(2) Individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia spectrum disorders.
(3) Individuals diagnosed and undergoing treatment for sleep disorders such as hypersomnia, respiratory-related sleep disorders, or parasomnias.
(4) Individuals without a smartphone.
