Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Age between 18 \- 90 years old
- •2\.BMI \< 35 kg/m2
- •3\.American Society of Anesthesiologists class I \- IV
- •4\.Elective cardiac surgery
- •5\.Undergoing CVC through the right IJV
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Contraindicated to TEE insertion eg. central airway lesion, esophageal stenosis or esophageal varices
- •2\.Documented extra\-cardiac vascular or rotational cardiac abnormalities
- •3\.Previously superior carvopulmonary shunt surgery or Fontan operation
- •4\.Abnormalities of neck and chest wall eg. Klippel\-Feil syndrome or burn scar contracture
- •5\.Preoperative documented thrombosis in right IJV
