Age >60 years undergoing surgery for hip fracture
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patient Refusal
2.Morbid Obesity
3.Contraindication to subarachnoid block
4.Coexisting severe medical illness like severe respiratory disease(SpO2 <90% on air),severe cardiac disease(congestive heart failure,severe valvular dysfunction,Ejection fraction <45%(history of Myocardial infarction)),Moderate to severe hypertension(BP >160/100)
5.Neurological Disease (Stroke,Alzheimer,Paralysis)
6.Psychiatric Disease,uncontrolled endocrine disorder
7.Coagulation abnormalities
