a)Age greater than 50 years.
b)Refractory LUTS secondary to BPH.
c)IPSS greater than 7.
d)QOL score 3 or greater.
e)Qmax less than 15 ml per second or patients with acute urinary retention secondary to BPH in whom trial of voiding after medical therapy failed.
f)Prostate size on preoperative TRUS of 40 gms or more.
a)Patients refusing consent
b)Known case of Carcinoma bladder
c)Known case of Carcinoma Prostate
d)Post surgical histopathology showing Carcinoma Prostate
e)Patients with neurological disorder
f)Active urinary tract infection
g)Bleeding disorder
h)Unfit for Lithotomy position
