Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • American Society of Anaesthesiologists grade I to II patients undergoing elective transurethral resection of prostate surgery
  • Prostatic volume upto 80 cc
  • Operative time of less than 90 minutes

Exclusion Criteria

  • Any contraindication to spinal anaesthesia
  • Cardiopulmonary disease
  • Hematologic disease
  • Hyperbilirubinemia
  • Cerebral vascular disease
  • Peripheral vascular disease
  • Inability to give consent
