入排标准
入选标准
- •1. General status: Healthy patients, no systemic disease
- •2. Mandibular premolar with single root canal, symptomatic Irreversible pulpitis.
- •3. Normal radiographically-single root canal, without any periapical lesion.
- •4. Restorable teeth
排除标准
- •1. General status: Pregnancy, history hypersensitivity to lidocaine
- •2. Systemic disease
- •3. Multi rooted bicuspids
- •4. Inability to take analgesics
- •5. Pulp necrosis, symptomatic irreversible pulpitis
- •6. Presence of Sinus tract
- •7. Periradicular status: Widening of PDL space, radiolucency, abscess, radiopacity.
- •8. Presence of resorption
- •9. Restorative status: impossible to restore, presence of crown prior to procedure
- •10. Teeth with open apices, presence of complicated root canal anatomy, extreme curvature over 30, endodontic procedural errors, calcified canals and inability to achieve apical patency.
- •11. Severe labial or lingual malpositioning making straight line access difficult
- •12. Use of analgesics 24 hours before the single visit root canal treatment
