Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\. General status: Healthy patients, no systemic disease
  • •2\. Mandibular premolar with single root canal, symptomatic Irreversible pulpitis.
  • •3\. Normal radiographically\-single root canal, without any periapical lesion.
  • •4\. Restorable teeth

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. General status: Pregnancy, history hypersensitivity to lidocaine
  • •2\. Systemic disease
  • •3\. Multi rooted bicuspids
  • •4\. Inability to take analgesics
  • •5\. Pulp necrosis, symptomatic irreversible pulpitis
  • •6\. Presence of Sinus tract
  • •7\. Periradicular status: Widening of PDL space, radiolucency, abscess, radiopacity.
  • •8\. Presence of resorption
  • •9\. Restorative status: impossible to restore, presence of crown prior to procedure
  • •10\. Teeth with open apices, presence of complicated root canal anatomy, extreme curvature over 30, endodontic procedural errors, calcified canals and inability to achieve apical patency.
