Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •92 patients admitted to three hospitals in Newcastle upon Tyne were randomised to early supported discharge or conventional care. To be eligible for entry patients had to:
- •1\. Be living at home prior to the stroke
- •2\. Not be too severely disabled
- •3\. Not have any other condition that might preclude rehabilitation
