- •Adults undergoing surgery requiring general anaesthesia and use of a volatile anaesthetic
- •\- Surgery expected to last at least one hour
Exclusion Criteria
- •\- Unable to consent
- •\- Surgery often associated with blood loss mandating blood transfusion, pregnant
- •\- Unable to monitor bispectral index
