Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Age more than 18 years.
- •2\. Undergoing elective coronary artery bypass graft surgery.
- •3\. Has at least two weeks of wait period before surgery.
- •4\. Eligible for prehabilitation as per the treating cardiologist and cardiac surgeon.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. History of previous cardiac surgery.
- •2\. Severe musculoskeletal or neurological impairments impeding assessment or therapy.
- •3\. Known psychiatric illnesses affecting participation in the program.
- •4\. Class 4 angina on the Canadian Cardiac Society scale.
- •5\. Unstable arrhythmias (Atrial fibrillation with fast ventricular rate, ventricular tachycardia with pulse, high degree AV block, uncontrolled sinus tachycardia).
- •6\. Decompensated heart failure.
- •7\. Severe aortic or mitral stenosis.
- •8\. Acute pericarditis or myocarditis.
- •9\. Patients having ICD or permanent pacemaker.
- •10\. Acute systemic illness or fever.
