Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1. Age more than 18 years.
  • 2. Undergoing elective coronary artery bypass graft surgery.
  • 3. Has at least two weeks of wait period before surgery.
  • 4. Eligible for prehabilitation as per the treating cardiologist and cardiac surgeon.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1. History of previous cardiac surgery.
  • 2. Severe musculoskeletal or neurological impairments impeding assessment or therapy.
  • 3. Known psychiatric illnesses affecting participation in the program.
  • 4. Class 4 angina on the Canadian Cardiac Society scale.
  • 5. Unstable arrhythmias (Atrial fibrillation with fast ventricular rate, ventricular tachycardia with pulse, high degree AV block, uncontrolled sinus tachycardia).
  • 6. Decompensated heart failure.
  • 7. Severe aortic or mitral stenosis.
  • 8. Acute pericarditis or myocarditis.
  • 9. Patients having ICD or permanent pacemaker.
  • 10. Acute systemic illness or fever.
  • 11. Currently participating in another interventional clinical trial.
