Inclusion Criteria

1.The subject should be between the age of 18-65 years;

2.The subject should be in good general health.

3.The subject should be a regular user of toothpaste and a toothbrush.

4.The subject should exhibit dental hypersensitivity as shown by discomfort by the two test stimuli in relation to at least two teeth.

5.Identifying the hypersensitive teeth with a thermo-electric device which exclusively meant for measurement of hypersensitivity

6.The subject should be willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion Criteria

1.Dental pathology which caused pain similar to dentinal hypersensitivity (e.g., dental caries).
2.Orthodontic appliances, restorations (crowns, cervical restorations, bridge work) that interfered with evaluations or would be a cause of possible pain.
3. Allergy to chemicals used in the study products.
4.Excessive gingival inflammation.
