简要总结
In this study, prevalence of Scapular Dyskinesia will be evaluated in yoga participants in the age group of 25-60 years of age. A total of 161 participants will be enrolled in the study after screening on the basis of inclusion and exclusion criteria. The individual’s level of Scapular Dyskinesia will be assessed by using Scapular Dyskinesis Test. In standing, the patient holds two dumbbells of 1.4kg if the patient weighs less than 68.1kg or 2.3kg and if the patient weighs more than 68.1kg and is instructed to do 3 repetitions of bilateral flexion followed by 3 repeats of bilateral abduction in the frontal plane with straight elbows. The examiner stands at the back of the patient during the movement and records the presence or absence of winging and/or dysrhythmia in scapular movement. The data will be documented, analysed and results will be calculated using statistical tests.
