Extreme preterm infants with hospital discharge and low birth weight; very preterm and preterm infants moderately and late with adequate weight for gestational age, between the 10th and ninety percentile in the growth curve; both genders; age between four and six months; perform at least one and at most three ranges for one minute at the home visit.
Infants who are born with gestational age equal to or greater than 37 weeks; congenital central nervous system; signs neurological; musculoskeletal; genetic syndromes or symptoms of withdrawal symptoms associated with maternal report of abuse of alcohol and drugs; congenital infections; sensory deficits; cardiopulmonary difficulties or whose mothers have submitted episode of eclampsia or preeclampsia.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Reaching performance: measured as the mean values of kinematics variables of reaching movement (movement duration, straightness index, deceleration time, number of movement unit, mean velocity, peak of velocity and trunk displacement)with a significance level of p <0.05 in the pre- and post-intervention measurements;Level of trunk control (Segmental Assessment of Trunk Control – SATCo): The score reflects the region in which the infant is able to maintain trunk control: score (1): head control, (2): upper thoracic, (3): mid thoracic, (4): lower thoracic, (5): upper lumbar, (6): lower lumbar (7): total trunk control, with a significance level of p <0.05 in the pre- and post-intervention measurements
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Categorical variables of reaching performance: the frequencies of uni/bimanual movements (proximal adjustments), hand opening/orientation and hand contact surface when the infant touches the object ( distal adjustments), and success of grasping object: measured by the frequency of reaches with object grasping, with a significance level of p <0.05 in the pre- and post-intervention measurements
