Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Healthy adult consented to participate in this study.
  • 2\. Patients with an American Society of Anesthesiologists pre\-anesthesia risk rating of 2 or less
  • 3\. Patient who can be obtained cerebral blood flow velocity signal by transcranial Doppler ultrasonography.

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1\. Patients who refuse to participate in the study.
  • 2\. Patients who are deemed inappropriate as research subjects by the principal investigator.
  • 3\. Patients with a history of allergy to general anesthetic or food (dairy and soybean).
  • 4\. Patients with an American Society of Anesthesiologists pre\-anesthesia risk rating of 3 or more.
  • 5\. Patients who have cerebrovascular disorder and an abnormal value of the intracranial pressure.
  • 6\. Patients undergoing an epidural or a peripheral nerve block with general anesthesia.
