Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Healthy adult consented to participate in this study.
- •2\. Patients with an American Society of Anesthesiologists pre\-anesthesia risk rating of 2 or less
- •3\. Patient who can be obtained cerebral blood flow velocity signal by transcranial Doppler ultrasonography.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients who refuse to participate in the study.
- •2\. Patients who are deemed inappropriate as research subjects by the principal investigator.
- •3\. Patients with a history of allergy to general anesthetic or food (dairy and soybean).
- •4\. Patients with an American Society of Anesthesiologists pre\-anesthesia risk rating of 3 or more.
- •5\. Patients who have cerebrovascular disorder and an abnormal value of the intracranial pressure.
- •6\. Patients undergoing an epidural or a peripheral nerve block with general anesthesia.
