- This study is expected to reveal the efficacy of combining Platelet Rich Plasma with 308-nm Excimer laser therapy compared to 308-nm Excimer laser therapy alone in Stable Vitiligo lesions.

简要总结
Vitiligo is characterized by depigmented macules causing cosmetic disability, which results in great psychosocial stress. Many treatment methods are available for vitiligo. Many a time, medical therapy alone is not satisfactory.
308-nm excimer laser has proved to be effective in the treatment of limited vitiligo. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is an autologous blood product having a large concentration of platelets which contains variety of growth factors which may stimulate melanocyte proliferation and re-pigmentation in the vitiligo lesions. Though there are studies about Excimer Laser or Platelet rich Plasma in vitiligo individually, there are no studies regarding combination of 308-nm excimer laser with platelet rich plasma in the treatment of stable vitiligo lesions from India. Hence, this study will add value to the literature.

入选标准
- •Patients aged 18-60 years.
- •Vitiligo patients with stable lesions for at least one year.
- •Patients who are willing to give consent.
排除标准
- •Patients with unstable vitiligo.
- •Patients who are not willing to give consent.
- •Infections.
- •Patients with bleeding disorders.
- •Patients on anticoagulants.
- •Patients with history of skin cancer, keloid, hypertrophic scar, psoriasis, lichen planus, photosensitivity disorders and Koebner’s phenomenon.

时间窗: Baseline and after 4 months
次要结局
- Side effects will be noted for both Platelet Rich Plasma & Excimer Laser treatments during each visit(Baseline & weekly twice for 4 months)
